“The world should not let Putin go his own way. His neo-imperial campaign should not succeed”

In his interview with journalists from Argentina, Chile and Brazil, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated that the world must not allow Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to continue on his chosen path.

“The world must not allow Putin to have his way. His neo-imperial campaign must not succeed,” the German Chancellor stated.

He noted that Russia’s aggressive war against Ukraine is a flagrant violation of international law and therefore is not a “purely European issue.”
