“The world’s weak response to the nuclear threat is surprising”

First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska commented on the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant during her interview with French broadcaster LCI.

Ukraine’s First Lady said she had been surprised by the world’s weak reaction to the nuclear threat from Russia.

“We are very surprised that the world is not responding. Now, the terrorist’s hand is on the nuclear button. And they can do whatever they want at the nuclear power plant,” noted Zelenska.

Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant is the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Russian forces occupying the plant have turned the site into a military base.
