There is no legal, political, or moral reason why Ukraine should give up even a centimeter of its land

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko responded to the statement of Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who proposed that Ukraine cede the Crimean Peninsula to Russia to put an end to the war.
“There is no legal, political or moral reason why Ukraine should give up even a centimeter of its land,” stated the Spokesperson of the MFA of Ukraine.
“Any mediation efforts to restore peace must be based on respect for the sovereignty and full restoration of Ukraine’s territorial integrity following the UN Charter,” added Nikolenko.
