“In the current situation, when a portion of Ukraine is occupied, and rockets and bombs are still being fired, the mandated peace is not for peace in Ukraine but for the exploitation of the Ukrainian state. Because peace and freedom do not necessarily follow from the absence of war. A just peace is the antithesis of one that is imposed. Because this idea of peace, which is governed by peace, acknowledges the right of the powerful and thereby transgresses international law,” said Baerbock.
