“Today is a moment to reaffirm our steadfast support for Ukraine’s heroic defence” Liz Truss, British Foreign Secretary

British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss made a statement to mark the first 100 days of the unjustified and illegal war in Ukraine.

Truss said that “Putin’s invasion has brought death and destruction on a scale not seen in Europe since WW2. This war has huge ramifications for global peace, prosperity, and food security.” She also commended Ukrainians’ bravery and reaffirmed British support for the country.
