“True heroes – they are among us”

On June 5, 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the frontline positions of the Ukrainian military in Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions.

Zelenskyy got acquainted with the operational situation at the frontline of defense. He also talked to the servicemen and gave them state awards and gifts.

“We were in Lysychansk, we were in Soledar. I am proud of everyone whom I met, whom I shook hands with, with whom I communicated, whom I supported,” the President of Ukraine said.

In addition, during the trip to Zaporizhzhia region, Zelenskyy visited a sanatorium that houses Ukrainians forced to leave their homes due to Russia’s armed aggression.
