Turkey intercepted a Russian ship carrying the stolen grain from Ukraine

A Russian ship carrying stolen grain from Ukraine was arrested by Turkish customs officials. Vasyl Bodnar, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Turkey, announced this on July 3, 2022, during the national telethon ‘Yedyni Novyny.’
“We work closely with the Turkish side. The ship is currently docked in front of the port’s gate after being stopped by Turkish customs officials,” Bodnar made a point. He also said that a team of Turkish investigators would decide on July 4, 2022, what would happen to the ship moving forward. Bodnar wished for “arrest of the ship, confiscation of the property, and prosecution of all those involved in this scheme.”
