Ukraine and Czech Republic to produce weapons and ammunition jointly

Ukraine and the Czech Republic have prepared six joint projects on the production of weapons and ammunition, as well as tank maintenance, Czech President Petr Pavel said during his visit to Kyiv, NV reports. According to Pavel, other initiatives have also been prepared in five key areas, including the reconstruction of Ukraine, focusing chiefly on energy and transport infrastructure.

“As for specific projects, they concern the production of weapons, ammunition, tank repairs (T-62), as well as the potential production of trainer aircraft. For us, the transfer of technologies and production is a priority so that production could take place partially or entirely on the territory of Ukraine,” Pavel said.
