Russia is attempting to seize the Zaporizhzhya NPP from Ukraine so that it cannot provide electricity to the European Union, as stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, on Twitter.

“Ukraine can help the EU eathe se energy crisis this winter with its electricity exports. This is why Russia tries to hijack the Zaporizhzhia NPP and impede them. Ukraine and the EU are in the same boat: we must remain united and defeat Putin before he brings us all even more trouble,” the Minister noted.
