Ukraine conducted a repeated test of electricity imports from Slovakia

The Ukrainian joint-stock company “Energy Company of Ukraine” conducted a repeated test supply of electricity from Slovakia, as reported by EKU.

“On November 19, 2022, the state energy trader JSC “Energy Company of Ukraine” (JSC “EKU”) successfully completed a 2-hour test supply of imported electricity from Slovakia. For the last month, it was the second test delivery under EKU JSC’s import contracts. On October 27, 2022, the corporation conducted the first test of electricity import.”

The company stated that the current import of electricity was not commercial and was carried out to investigate the prospect of acquiring electricity from Slovakia if needed for the power system.
