Ukraine doing everything possible to resume food exports to Africa

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba assured his Liberian counterpart that Ukraine is doing everything possible to resume food exports to African markets.
“I spoke with my Liberian colleague Dee Maxwell Kemaya. Grateful for the support of Liberia within the framework of the UN. Ukraine is doing its best to export food to African markets, but Russia must end its illegal blockade of Ukrainian seaports and stop undermining global food security,” Kuleba wrote on his Twitter.
According to the European Commissioner, 20 million tons of grain should be sent from Ukraine using the EU infrastructure in less than three months. In the medium term, to improve the connection between the EU and Ukraine, the European Commission will work to increase the capacity of the infrastructure of new export corridors and create new infrastructure links as part of the reconstruction of Ukraine.
