Ukraine has liberated 1,888 localities since the full-scale Russian invasion started

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Ukrainian army had already liberated 1,888 settlements since February 24, 2022, while almost as many towns and villages remain under Russian occupation.

“We have no right to leave even one Ukrainian under the Russian occupation! Neither in Russian filtration camps, where thousands have already disappeared nor on Russian territory, where hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians were forcibly deported…We can free them. This is our hope. This is what your support means. This is not about politics — this is about life,” the President of Ukraine said in his address to the Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Foundation on December 7, 2022.
