Ukraine lost up to 10 million tonnes of potential crops due to Russia’s capture of its territories, stated Ukrainian First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotskyi on September 19, 2022.

He added that some of those crops were stolen, and some were burned. The final losses can be calculated after the de-occupation of the territories.
