Ukraine must win not only the contest but reclaim its country — Israeli representative at Eurovision 2022

Michael Ben David, a participant in the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 from Israel, commented that bookmakers predict this year’s victory for the KALUSH Orchestra group from Ukraine.

He spoke about this at a press conference after the second rehearsal. He stressed that Ukraine must win both the song contest and win back its country:

“Everyone is talking about Ukraine in first place at Eurovision. And I say that this is nothing. They must win everything. They must win and win back their country. Not only Eurovision. They must win everything. Because no one understands what they are going through now. Therefore, it is very difficult. And I hope it will end soon,” said Michael Ben David.
