Ukraine needs heavy armory, Europe must be able to take the next step

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola called for further support for Ukraine during the ‘Night of European Ideas’ event in Berlin on September 28, 2022.

“Ukraine needs weapons to survive. In this next phase of the war, heavy armory will be required. Tanks are needed, and we must be able to take that next step,” Metsola stated.

“Now is when Europe’s leadership matters. And we will look to Germany to help lead. Together we must do more,” the President of the European Parliament stressed.
