Ukraine returns 106 defenders of Bakhmut from Russian captivity

Ukraine has returned 106 defenders from Russian captivity. These are the soldiers from the Bakhmut sector — 8 officers and 98 soldiers and sergeants, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak announced on Telegram.
“They fought for Bakhmut and performed a feat that prevented the enemy from advancing further into our East. Each of them is a hero of our country. Among those released, many were considered missing. Their relatives have gone through a difficult time,” Yermak said.
68 of the freed soldiers were considered missing. The youngest released fighter is 21 years old.
