Ukraine returns 31 children deported by Russia

On April 8, 31 Russian-deported Ukrainian children are coming home. At a news conference held at the Media Center Ukraine – Ukrinform, Mykola Kuleba, the executive director of Save Ukraine and the President of Ukraine’s Commissioner for Children’s Rights (2014–2021), made this announcement.
“At this time, 31 kids are traveling to Kiev. In 3–4 hours, these kids will reach the capital. This was our fifth rescue effort, and it stood out not only for the number of kids we were able to save but also for the difficulties. Sadly, the grandma who was scheduled to take up two kids passed away while on this journey,” he stated.
