Ukraine will be able to completely protect its skies from enemy attacks when the aviation taboo in relations with foreign partners is lifted, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
“The day began with an attack by Iranian drones. Most of them were shot down. 11 out of 14. Unfortunately, there were also hits. Three employees of the State Emergency Service in Khmelnytskyi were injured, and two died. My condolences to the families,” Zelenskyy said in his evening video address.
“Actually, this is why we, first of all, need an aviation component of air defense — modern combat aircraft, so that the entire territory of our state can be protected from Russian terror. Air defense is fully functional when it is provided, in particular, by aviation. Modern aviation,” he stressed.
