“Ukraine will be the next EU member state and the next to join NATO. Because Europe without Ukraine, won’t be Europe.”

“Europe was incredibly blind about the threat from Russia,” stated Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of Latvia, Artis Pabriks, at the Berlin Foreign Policy Forum. “If we had given at the very beginning of the war, or before it, the help that Ukraine needed, the war would have ended,” he stated.

Latvian Deputy Prime Minister noted that Ukraine would win the war, adding that there is simply no alternative. “I think that Ukraine will be the next EU member state and the next to join NATO. Because Europe without Ukraine, won’t be Europe,” Pabriks stated.
