Ukraine will present an empty stand with a call for support at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair

As a result, the Ukrainian book community seeks assistance from colleagues in other countries in order to return to the Bologna Book Fair with a stand full of books the following year. The Bologna Fair organizers gave Ukraine a free booth, refused to allow Russia to participate, and asked participating publishers to bring children’s books translated from Ukrainian into various languages to be collected as part of a joint exhibition. Another exhibition planned for the fair’s central area is a display of 30-40 Ukrainian books.
