“Ukraine will win and that it will revive stronger, prouder, and more prosperous than before”

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni supported Ukraine’s EU bid during press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Rome on May 13, 2023.

According to Meloni, Italy is going to play a decisive role in supporting the attribution of Ukraine’s candidate status for entry into the European Union. “The future of Ukraine is a future of peace and freedom, it`s an European future. There are no other possible solutions to this affair. I am convinced that Ukraine will win and that it will revive stronger, prouder, and more prosperous than before,” Meloni said.
