Ukraine won a full set of awards on the first day of the Invictus Games

The Ukrainian national team successfully started the competition at the Invictus 2022 Games in the Netherlands. On the first day of the Games, the team managed to win a full set of awards: one gold, one silver, and two bronze medals.

The first gold was won by Rodion Sitdikov in the shot put with a result of 9.46 m.

Artem Lukashuk brings the silver medal to Ukraine in the long jump with a result of 5.20 m.

Ivan Geretsun won the bronze medal in the same discipline. His result is in the long jump of 5.10 m. Oleksii Bobchynets became a bronze medalist in the 1,500-meter dash. This is the fourth medal for Ukrainians at the Invictus Games.
