Ukraine won the Women’s Chess Olympiad 2022

The Ukrainian women’s team won the Chess Olympiad 2022, which took place in Chennai, India, from July 28 to August 10.
The Ukrainian team was represented by Maria and Anna Muzychuk, Anna Ushenina, Yuliia Osmak and Nataliia Buksa. In the final 11th round, the Ukrainians won a crucial victory over the Polish team.
In total, 162 national teams took part in the women’s tournament.
Ukraine’s women’s team won the Chess Olympiad for the second time in history. For the first time, it was in 2006, in Turin, Italy.
