Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine’s emergency workers have already detected, removed, and disposed of 349,488 pieces of explosive ordnance, including 2,209 air bombs.
During the year of the full-scale war, more than 52,000 pyrotechnicians surveyed and demined the territory of 831 square kilometers. 30% of Ukraine’s total area — 174,000 square kilometers — is still potentially dangerous.
