Ukraine’s National team became the champion of the Summer Deaflympics, winning 138 medals

The national team of Ukraine is the absolute winner of the Summer Deaflympics, which took place in May 2022 in Brazil. From the very first day of the competition, Ukrainians took the lead in the medal standings, winning more than 10 medals a day on average. And in the end, they became the winners of the medal standings, winning 138 medals — 62 gold, 38 silver, and 38 bronze.

It was a historic competition for Ukraine’s national team, as for the first time, it won more than 100 medals and set a record for the number of gold medals.
