Ukraine’s police investigate 10,800 Russian war crimes

“Police are investigating about 10,800 war crimes committed by the Russian Federation,” the National Police communications department reports with reference to Chief of the National Police of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.

It is noted that police officers perform their duties 24/7 during the war, and investigators and forensic scientists continue to collect evidence of the brutal crimes of Russian invaders. In particular, specialists from France, Poland, and Lithuania are also involved in this work.

“Every crime that has been or will be committed on the territory of our state will be documented, and the enemy will be punished duly: both in the courts of Ukraine and the international community,” Klymenko said.
