Ukraine’s power deficit totals 20%

As of November 27, 2022, electricity producers covered almost 80% of consumption needs in Ukraine, with a capacity deficit totaling about 20%. The press service of Ukraine’s state energy company Ukrenergo stated this on Facebook.
“The restoration of the energy system is underway after the seventh Russian attack on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. As of 11:00, electricity producers cover almost 80% of consumption needs, which are gradually increasing due to the cold weather. Of this 80%, the critical infrastructure uses only about 10%; the rest of the electricity is used to supply the consumers,” the report says.
