Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated over 60 Russian equipment units in the south of Ukraine
“In our operational zone, the enemy continues to pursue the counterbattery activity. The Russians do not conduct active offensive actions and strengthen defensive lines. The occupation forces twice attempted an airstrike. In the morning, our unit shot down an enemy helicopter, using a portable anti-aircraft missile system. In the afternoon, another enemy Mi-8 attacked the river crossing, trying to restrain our units in maneuvers,” the Operational Command “South” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed.
In total, 70 Russian personnel and more than 60 units of Russian equipment were destroyed over the last day: a helicopter, a Pion self-propelled heavy artillery system, a Grad multiple rocket launcher, 3 152mm howitzers, 19 armored personnel vehicles, 33 vehicles, and 4 engineering equipment units.
