Ukrainian army destroyed Russian equipment worth $157.5 million in three days
During September 5-7, 2022, the Ukrainian defenders destroyed cruise missiles, aircraft, and helicopters of the Russian army worth $157.5 million, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook.
The General Staff explained that those were only air attack means of the Russian army counted: cruise missiles, aircraft, and helicopters destroyed by the units of the Anti-Aircraft Missile Troops of the Air Forces, the Air Defense Troops of the Ground Forces, and the Air Assault Forces of Ukraine.
One of the most expensive and most technological missiles in service of the Russian Federation is the Kh-101 cruise missile having an estimated cost of $13 million. The enemy fired six such missiles at Ukraine on September 5, 2022 (five of them were shot down by the Air Force units), i.e., the total cost of the missiles fired is $78 million.
