Ukrainian athlete wins Rhythmic Gymnastics European Championships for the first time in 18 years
19-year-old Ukrainian athlete Viktoria Onoprienko became the European champion in rhythmic gymnastics in Azerbaijan. She won a gold medal in hoop exercises.
The last time Ukraine won the championship was in 2005.
