Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra released a song together with the Finnish group The Rasmus

Ukrainian band and Eurovision 2022 winner Kalush Orchestra have collaborated with Finnish group The Rasmus to release ‘In The Shadows of Ukraine.’ The song is a rework of The Rasmus’ hit ‘In the Shadows’ (2003).

“Our mission is to let as many people as possible know about this war and the courage of the Ukrainian people. Therefore, we decided to shoot a video for this song,” said Kalush.

The Rasmus lead vocalist Lauri Ylönen stated the group loved the original sound of Kalush Orchestra — Ukrainian folk, singing, flute, and rap. “It was inspiring to hear how this song can be reborn like that! And the lyrics are unfortunately even more relevant to what is happening now in Ukraine and around the world,” Ylönen added.
