Ukrainian brands introduced Autumn Winter 2023 collections at London Fashion Week

Ukrainian brands KSENIASCHNAIDER, PASKAL and FROLOV introduced Autumn Winter 2023 collections at London Fashion Week, on Feb. 21, 2023, within Ukrainian Fashion Week International Season AW23 that is taking place outside Ukraine due to the full-scale Russian war. The new collection by KSENIASCHNAIDER is not only a celebration of joy and positivity but also a powerful symbol of resilience and resourcefulness. For the first time in three years, PASKAL is back on the runway. Ukrainian brand reveals the new collection Out of Cocoon. In the new collection, FROLOV turns to archives and memories as the brand turns ten this year. The show of Ukrainian designers became possible due to the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine.

All the guests invited to the LFW and Ukrainian shows found a statement on their seats from the Ukrainian Fashion Week with an appeal to the world. “We strive to create. Creating collections is our resistance to war. Today, more than ever, we need creativity for life,” the official message says. Despite the air raid sirens and missile attacks, Ukrainian designers continue to create, and Ukrainian Fashion Week continues to support them. Ukrainian designers expressed their willingness to invite all to the next season’s show in a liberated and free Ukraine and underlined that they “will never destroy, but will always create.”

Designers Ksenia Schnaider, Ivan Frolov and Julie Paskal walked the catwalk with a Ukrainian flag bearing the name of President Zelenskyy’s official fundraising platform UNITED24. The goal of the President’s initiative is to unite people worldwide in their will to support Ukraine.
