Ukrainian Children Matter

The inscription “CHILDREN” on the ground has become a certain symbol in the context of the war in Ukraine. Despite the inscription in Russian near Mariupol Drama Theater, the Russians still struck the building with a missile. The inscription did not deter them from committing another heinous crime. The missile struck the shelter where about 1000 women, children and the elderly were hiding.
On March 22, 2022 in front of a theater in Prague the word “children” was made of candles to demonstrate support for Ukraine and turn the world’s attention to the ruthlessness of the Russian invaders.
Today, every theater in the world can support not only the children who found themselves in the clutches of the Mariupol shelter, but also all Ukrainian children who are under bombing and forced to spend their time in bomb shelters, or flee from their homes to avoid danger. In Ukrainian, “ДІТИ” means “children”. Making a symbolic inscription today shows that you support Ukrainian children and draws attention to Russia’s crimes against the Ukrainian people.
