Ukrainian climatologist Svitlana Krakovska entered Nature’s list of 10 people who helped shape science in 2022

Prestigious scientific journal Nature published its top 10 of the most influential scientists of the year; Ukrainian climatologist Svitlana Krakovska is among them.
According to Nature, its top 10 list explores key developments in science this year and some of the people who played important parts in these milestones.
As the journal reports, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) scientist Svitlana Krakovska became an international advocate for her country and linked Russia’s invasion to climate change, calling it a ‘fossil-fuel war.’
