Ukrainian defenders bake and decorate Easter cookies for children with disabilities

On the eve of Orthodox Easter, soldiers from the Territorial Defense Forces brigade from Zaporizhzhia region organized an event for children. They baked and painted 130 gingerbread cookies and Easter eggs for children with disabilities, Ukrinform reports.
The Easter campaign was called “From Heart to Heart.” The military, who have been protecting the country for more than a year, say that they organized the event as a sign of gratitude to children and their close ones.

“These children and their parents, together with the employees of the rehabilitation center, help the military and send gifts for every holiday, so we decided to thank them and give the children Easter gingerbread,” a military woman told Ukrinform.
