Ukrainian defenders destroyed all 18 missiles Russia launched overnight, including 6 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles

Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces shot down all of the missiles launched by Russia on the night of May 16, 2023.

A total of 18 missiles of different types — air, sea, and land-based — were launched at the country, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces reported, six of them were Kinzhal hypersonic missiles — the most modern Russian weapon, which they claimed were “unstoppable.”

All 18 missiles were destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
