Ukrainian defenders shot down Russian Su-35 fighter jet, 4 missiles and 20 drones overnight

During the Russian night attack on May 22, 2023, Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces downed four cruise missiles and 20 Shahed attack drones over the eastern and southern areas.

Also, Ukrainian defenders managed to destroy the Russian Su-35 fighter jet over temporarily occupied parts of the Kherson region.

Overnight, the Russian invaders attacked the military and infrastructure facilities of the eastern outpost of Ukraine — the city of Dnipro. The attack was carried out by 16 missiles of various types and 20 strike drones, as Ukraine’s Air Force reported.
