Ukrainian DJ and journalist entered the list of 20 Next Generation Leaders by the American TIME magazine
Ukrainian DJ Daria Kolomieс and the Chief Editor of the Kyiv Independent Olga Rudenko entered the annual list of 20 Next Generation Leaders by the American Time Magazine.
Daria Kolomieс was included for “making sure the world hears Ukrainian stories.” Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, she created the Diary of War media project, in which she collected more than 40 stories about the lives of various people during the war: soldiers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, paramedics, volunteers, and Ukrainians who managed to leave the occupied settlements.
Olga Rudenko is on the list for “giving the world a window into a devastating war,” as since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Kyiv Independent became the world’s primary source for reliable English-language information about Ukraine and the war.
