Ukrainian doctor Nataliia Tetruieva received Heroine of Health Award by Women In Global Health

Ukrainian surgeon Nataliia Tetruieva was named among Heroines of Health 2022 by Women in Global Health.

The event was hosted on the sidelines of the World Health Summit in Germany, aiming to highlight the traditionally unrecognized women in the healthcare systems worldwide.

Nataliia Tetruieva is one of Ukraine’s leading maxillofacial surgeons, responsible for the surgery team in the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt.” Since the start of the full-scale Russian aggression against Ukraine, she and her team immediately shifted to providing emergency care for the wounded.
