Ukrainian Institute started the digital project “Postcards from Ukraine”

The project “Postcards from Ukraine” aims to record the damage caused to the Ukrainian culture by the Russian invaders as a result of the bombings during the full-scale war that Russia launched against Ukraine on February 24, 2022.

Today more than ever, we need solidarity and support from the international community. Russia is destroying the centuries-old history of Ukraine: weapons do not stop at the paintings of Mariia Prymachenko, the memory of the Holocaust Memorial “Babyn Yar,” the church of the 18th century, and the monuments of constructivism in the architecture of modern Kharkiv.

Russia is trying to erase Ukrainian culture in order to justify, belittle, and divert public attention from its countless war crimes, acts of aggression, human rights, and international law violations. Ukrainian Institute called to tell the world about the destruction of Ukrainian culture. Everyone can make a huge difference and deprive Russia of this lever of influence, regardless of location. Distribute postcards on social networks, and send them to those persons who have influence and their voice.
