Ukrainian journalists received a special citation of Pulitzer Prize for courage, endurance, and commitment during the war

The Pulitzer prizes have honored the journalists of Ukraine with a special citation hailing the country’s reporters for the “courage, endurance and commitment to truthful reporting during Vladimir Putin’s ruthless invasion of their country and his propaganda war in Russia.”
The Pulitzer board wrote: “Despite bombardment, abductions, occupation, and even deaths in their ranks, they have persisted in their effort to provide an accurate picture of a terrible reality, doing honor to Ukraine and journalists around the world.”
According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, at least seven journalists, including three from Ukraine, have been killed since Russian forces invaded on February 24, 2022, Guardian reported.
