Ukrainian kids made a makeshift classroom at the only place in their village with a strong internet signal to join online-lessons

Schoolchildren from Hontarivka, Kharkiv region, built a makeshift classroom at the only place in their village where they could find a strong mobile internet signal to join classes online.
Reuters reports that children’s school in the east of Ukraine has been in distance-learning mode since the start of the new school year in September 2022, a few weeks before the area was liberated from Russian invaders.
Children said they collected the materials — plastic sheeting, wooden poles, bricks and sand — from around their homes. They spend there a couple of hours a day listening to the lectures and sending back home assignments via messaging apps.
