Ukrainian mathematician Olena Vaneeva entered the list of International Rising Talents of L’Oréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science

Ukrainian Olena Vaneeva, the doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, entered the TOP-15 of the International Rising Talents of L’Oréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science and represented Ukraine on the world stage at the headquarters of UNESCO.

UNESCO and the L’Oréal Foundation are unveiling the winners of this year’s International Prize for Women in Science, which honors five eminent women scientists with exceptional careers from the five regions of the world, as it has done annually since 1998. For 24 years, it has supported more than 3,900 women researchers from over 110 countries, rewarding scientific excellence and inspiring younger generations of women to pursue science as a career.
