Ukrainian military shot down 12 of more than 20 Russian missiles fired across the country on Dec. 31, 2022.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russian troops launched more than 20 air-launched cruise missiles across Ukraine on Dec. 31, 2022.

Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces have destroyed 12 cruise missiles: six within the Kyiv region, five over the Zhytomyr region and one more over Khmelnytskyi region.
