Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on the world to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as genocide

Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs calls on international partners to restore historical justice — to recognize the Holodomor of 1932-1933 as a genocide of the Ukrainian people. The relevant statement was made on November 26, 2022, on the Commemoration Day of the Holodomor Victims in Ukraine.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, 18 foreign states at the parliamentary level and 9 states at the regional level recognized the Holodomor as a genocide against the Ukrainian people.

Recently, the parliaments of Moldova, Ireland, and Romania recognized the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine as genocide.
