Ukrainian National Energy Company Ukrenergo restores over 10,000 km of power lines during the period of Russian attacks

Ukrenergo’s 70 mobile repair teams, including 1,500 specialists, are working to restore the power system after Russian shelling and have repaired more than 10,000 km of power lines, the company said.

As Ukrenergo noted in a presentation on its website, of all damaged facilities — 43% of the total number, 70% have been partially restored and returned to work.

“Ukrainian power engineers were given an unprecedented challenge — no energy system in the world has experienced such destruction from massive shelling. The work of Ukrenergo specialists and all power engineers has turned into a mission: to restore the energy system under any conditions and return light to people,” the comments to the presentation said.
