Ukrainian photojournalists Yevhen Maloletka and Mstyslav Chernov receive RSF Freedom Award
Ukrainian photojournalists Yevhen Maloletka and Mstyslav Chernov received the Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Press Freedom Prize 2022. They got the Prize for Impact.
Yevhen Maloletka and Mstyslav Chernov were the only reporters to cover the Russian bombardment of the Ukrainian city of Mariupol for three weeks. The photojournalists worked in extremely harsh conditions and were wanted by the Russian army due to the resonance of their photos.
