Ukrainian pilot shoots down five drones and two cruise missiles before emergency ejection

Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Council Vyacheslav Sokolovyi has published a photo of a Ukrainian pilot Vadym who managed to shoot down five drones and two cruise missiles on his own.

On October 12, 2022, the pilot was on a combat mission to destroy kamikaze drones in the skies over the Vinnytsia region. The day before, he shot down two Russian cruise missiles.

After destroying five drones, the pilot began to lose control of the aircraft because the fragments of one of the drones hit the board and caused a fire. Vadym managed to drive the burning jet away from the village and eject successfully.
