Ukrainian polar explorers mark Vyshyvanka Day in Antarctica

Ukrainian polar explorers marked Vyshyvanka Day at the Ukrainian Antarctic Akademik Vernadsky station. Some of the explorers dressed up in embroidered shirts with traditional Ukrainian ornaments. Other people wore embroidered shirts with unique Antarctic embroideries, which depict whales, penguins and albatrosses. The Ukrainian Antarctic Akademik Vernadsky station is located on Galindez Island, Argentine Islands Archipelago.
