Ukrainian police rescued an 8-year-old boy whose parents were killed in Russian shelling of Bakhmut

Police officers from the Donetsk region rescued an 8-year-old boy who was left alone in a dangerous area of the city of Bakhmut, which is constantly under Russian shelling. His father and mother, who was seven months pregnant, were killed by a Russian artillery strike on the street.
“The area where the boy lived is under constant attack by the Russians, and the roads to it are destroyed, it is almost impossible to get there. Despite this, a rescue operation was organized. Law enforcement officers risked their lives, but took the child away from the hot spot,” the police report says.
Now his aunt will take care of the boy. Police officers say that the police dachshund Rem helped the boy to live through difficult moments.
